When I had my consultation a detailed explanation of what the consultant, the lovely Merlyn, was looking for and what procedures would follow. After an initial examination it turned out my right ear was pretty good but the left was fairly blocked.
It is a very gentle procedure that loosens and then sucks the wax out.
